“Real World/Road Rules Challenge” star Diem Brown has died after a long battle with cancer.

Strong the whole way remained. The MTV star had not stayed neutral on social media practically right up to her time of death:
On Nov. 12, she tweeted out a supplication to her supporters, composing, “I NEED PRAyErs and advice my doctors are seemingly giving up but I won’t & can’t rollover. Whatever option I have to LIVE I’m grabbing!… Need prayers, advice, support & outreach. No is not an option.”
Her pals, including MTV’s CT and Alicia Quarles Tamburello had additionally been really public about getting help, doing everything possible to do this.
“I want people to know that the fight is worth it,” she told People in October. “And that’s something that’s so important for me.”
“It’s my personal perspective that you live as hard and as vigorously as you can,” she also said last month. “My goals are something I believe in, because I believe I’m going to make it. I’m going to have a family and get married and the whole American, 2½ kids, white-picket fence dream. It’s something that’s really important to me, because it means a long-term future.”
CT posted a picture on Instagram of Diem on Nov. 5, writing, “There is nothing more delightful then an honest smile when having an awful day. To feel a cool breeze flowing over your body in the burning heat. To see the sun shining bright through the pouring rain and to have a friend who tells you that nothing comes close by any of them then you…” -A.F Your smile can change the world. MTV released the following statement at her time of death: “We are tremendously sad to hear the news that Diem Brown has lost her long battle with cancer. We send our deepest condolences to her family and friends. Diem was a true fighter and brought passion to everything she touched. We will miss her.”
Diem’s Long Fight
In the year 2012, her cancer returned, and she started fighting again, showing how powerful she was.
She chronicled it all in an Individuals site, decided to never give up and remaining positive. In early 2013, she went into remission after chemotherapy. Just two weeks later she went on another MTV challenge, Competitions II, to show her strength when physicians had told her “seeing 2013 was not that likely.”
In August 2014, Diem fell on set and was filming her eighth Challenge in Panama; she was diagnosed with colon cancer and was flew to NY. In October, Diem disclosed the cancer had spread from colon and her gut to her liver and her lymph nodes.
